(I just have to say, while he did it to himself, it's funny to see Joseph get blinded for a change 😜) How is everyone? Happy Memorial Day to everyone in the USA. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their long weekend. We've got "two weeks" worth of content to share with you today… though, as you can see, there were only two videos to talk about. And you'll understand why because of Monday's show. Joseph's friend, colleague, and fellow Ashland resident Sean Bagshaw showed up in the studio to talk about his past adventures… just mere hours before he and Joseph and some other landscape photographers set out for a camping trip that had Joseph out in nature and away from his tech-filled studio… let alone a cell signal. And on Friday, back in the comfort of his studio, Joseph showed us the Aputure AL-M9, a tiny LED that packs a punch for very little money.
"Why is he holding that camera upside-down?" I'm sure you're eye is twitching just looking at it, but there's a goos reason. If any of you are fans of Casey Neistat 368 vlog, you may have seen his video where he had Paul de Gelder on. Paul has one hand because a shark took the other one, but he doesn't let that stop him from exploring his hobbies… far from it. He's the kind of guy who sees a challenge to rise to. Joseph saw the video, and his gears got turning too. If you only have one hand… and it's your left… how do operate the camera efficiently? Joseph came up with a couple of answers and options! On Wednesday, Joseph gave an in-depth review and tutorial on the Panasonic 200mm f/2.8 lens. And finally, on Friday, in the wake of the new firmware updates for the GH5, GH5S, and the G9, Joseph took it upon himself to share what you need to know about the difference between Shutter Speed vs Shutter Angle.
Next week's schedule will be slightly different. Make sure to keep an eye to twitter and/or Facebook for any show announcements.
We hope everyone has a great (long) weekend (for those in the USA)! You can catch us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30am PT for the LIVE Photo Moments
